Malick’s films seem to have a single unifying aesthetic…all of them. Being/looking naturally lit, and fluid handheld operating (IMO Malick is one of the people to properly master handheld, and using it to add to the film), yet he’s worked with different DoPs. And the cinematography is always outstanding. Since the Malick is the one constant throughout his filmography, is the look of the films down to him or the DoPs?

Amazing film with beautiful cinematography. One of my all time favourites.
