I was recently alerted that this film has not been presented here in its original aspect ratio. This film was actually shot 2.35:1 and not the 1.77:1 that I have displayed below. I am hoping to replace these shots soon with the proper aspect ratio. Thank you for your patience.

Are these grabs according the film’s aspect ratio?
You know, that is a good question. As I look at the screenshots I realize they are not the original aspect ratio. The original movie was shot in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Which this definitely isn’t. These are 16:9. I think these might have been captured from an HD television version of the movie and not from a Blu-ray or something like that. I will definitely fix that soon. Thanks for pointing it out.
Had exactly the same question – the original aspect ratio should be 2.35.
The same issue is with the Road To Perdition grabs that are also 16:9 instead of 1:2.35
