Thanks alot for all your work on this site it is amazing. Love studying all these images as really like improving my lighting/ cinematography knowledge.
The lighting here does not look especially dramatic here (nothing wrong with that – just the decision the Director/DOP made based on their vision) .
Barring the night shots – most of the shots the actors looked to be well lit – even/flat lighting and soft lighting wouldn’t you say? No real contrast as such especially on the face?

Yeah, it does seem fairly even lighting. But like you say, it’s a directorial choice. I think a lot of DePalma’s films are shot that way.
