EVAN E RICHARDS is a freelance director/cinematographer with more than 10 years of experience as a videographer, photographer, editor, camera operator and teacher.

Evan has shot for dozens of clients around the world including Boston IVF, McMurry, The University of Maine, Hodgdon Yachts and The Maine Pulp and Paper Foundation. Awards include Best Film, Best Writing, Best Cinematography and Best Graphics at the 48 Hour Film Project as well as several screenings at film festivals.

Evan has also taught photography, editing and post-production techniques for groups such as Apple Inc, The University of Maine and The Monreale Monastery in Palermo, Sicily.

Evan shoots commercials, promotional videos, weddings, documentaries, short films and other venues clients need to promote or document their products, businesses or lives. He also does directing, editing and color grading.

Prior to becoming a freelance director and cinematographer, Evan was a cinematographer and editor at Visionmill Productions, a state-of-the-art film and television production company. He has also worked shooting promotional materials for the University of Maine department of Research and Economic Development. Evan holds a B.A. in New Media and a M.A. in Film from the University of Maine and is a certified trainer for Apple Pro Apps.
