Hey! I was just wondering about the colors in the pictrures. Because in the trailer, the first sequence (when Samuel meets up with Kurt), the colors have a pretty strong green tint, and in these pictures its all blue?! Do you know what the correct color is? Thank you
I can only assume that the images in the trailer do not have the final grade applied to them. If you find out any more information on this I’d be interested to know more.
Exactly, but you’re example with Arrival, was really extreme. Me and my editor just recalibrated our monitor and looked at stills, trailer and the full movie. And it dosent look like the trailer, as you said, has the final grade. The stills has a slitghtly pink tint, the trailer is green and the movie has something in between, but primarily blue. I also looked at the release date of the trailer, and it was released almost five months before the movie, so I think it’s safe to say that the final grade wasn’t done when the the first trailer came out. This is an interesting question. I’ve noticed something similar with “Arrival”. The images from the trailer look very different from the trailer.
