The train carriages are exact in almost every detail to those which I’m sure that majority of my readership would regularly take to and in London. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Inside the replica of King’s Cross (complete with faulty ticket barriers), passengers head past stacks of out-of-place luggage with a faintly wizardy feel, between queue railings (which provide the only clue that you are in a theme park), past a poster from the sixth Harry Potter film (‘from’ not ‘of’, it’s actually a prop), and into Platform 9 3/4.
