I’m surprised you don’t have the stills with the girl in red. That was the best part of the cinematography. The light coming from the window and falling on the figures inside the room is very similar to Janusz’s other work in ”Lincoln”. Well deserved winner, one of the great examples of how beautiful black and white cinematography can be.
Unfortunately I can’t grab stills from every scene and Schindler’s List is a long movie. There are at least two shots of her however.
Yeah, Janusz Kaminski has some stylistic tricks you might say, that he uses often. Strongly back lit scenes is one of his trademarks. I think you’ll see it in every single one of his films.
